Wezader: E-commerce & Delivery application

Wezader is a comprehensive mobile platform designed to be a one-stop shop for local deliveries and e-commerce, revolutionizing how small businesses gain online presence and reach customers. The core vision was to offer a diverse range of products and services, empowering local merchants while providing users with a seamless and efficient way to shop and receive deliveries. As the Mobile Application Developer and UI/UX Designer on this multi-faceted team project, I was instrumental in crafting the user experience and building the core mobile applications for both customers/shops and drivers.

My Role

My responsibilities were centered on bringing the intuitive user experience and robust mobile functionality of Wezader to life:

  • UI/UX Design: Spearheading the user interface and user experience design in Figma for both the customer/shop app and the driver app. This involved managing complex user flows, ensuring consistent branding across different user types, and designing intuitive interfaces for product Browse, order management, and delivery tracking.
  • Mobile App Development: Building the cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter. This included implementing all front-end functionalities for customers (shopping, ordering, tracking), shop owners (managing orders), and drivers (accepting tasks, navigation, updating status).

For Customers:

  • Extensive Product Browse: Discover a wide array of products categorized for easy navigation.
  • Advanced Search & Filters: Efficiently find desired items with powerful search capabilities and detailed filters.
  • Comprehensive Product Details: View rich product information, images, and customer reviews.
  • Intuitive Shopping Cart & Order Placement: Seamlessly add items to a cart and complete orders with ease.
  • Order History: Track past purchases and reorder favorite items.
  • Delivery Status Updates: Receive real-time notifications on order progress.

For Shops/Merchants:

  • Dedicated Shop Management App: A separate mobile interface for shop owners to manage their online presence.
  • Order Management: Efficiently receive, process, and manage incoming customer orders.
  • Product Listing & Details: Tools to add new products, update inventory, and manage product information.

For Delivery Drivers:

  • Dedicated Driver App: A streamlined mobile application tailored for delivery operations.
  • Order Acceptance/Rejection: Drivers can view incoming delivery requests and accept or reject them.
  • Integrated Navigation: Turn-by-turn navigation to pick-up and delivery locations.
  • Delivery Task Management: Organize and manage assigned deliveries efficiently.
  • Earnings Tracking: Monitor daily/weekly earnings and payout information.
  • Status Updates: Update order and delivery status in real-time, providing transparency to customers and shops.
